What's the best way to alert a nearby driver to the fact that he or she has inadvertently left a turn signal on?

The object of this thread was to post the worst possible answer, not the best.

Abolish Yellowstone National Park, then commission the routes through the ex-park as US-20, US-20S, and US-20N.

~ or ~

Turn it into an Interstate, because Interstates don't have gaps through parks.

Engage in fracking in Yellowstone so as to trigger an earthquake that could then lead to the supervolcano erupting. US-20's gap would then be the least of anyone's concerns.

Combine all of these ideas, creating an Interstate 120 (named for US 20) that multiplexes into four routes.

I-120S will run as a 6-lane tunnel under the park.
I-120N will run as a high bridge over the park.
I-120E will run as the Yellowstone Eastern Bypass.
I-120W will run as the Yellowstone Western Bypass.

To avoid confusion, US 20 will not run concurrent with any of these routes, and instead have a gap through Yellowstone National Park.

Solve the problem by creating an even bigger problem.  Interesting, creative approach...

Something like this routing could work.

Exactly! This gap is nothing that 1,400 miles of freeway can't fix!

I'd suggest a bridge, so someone could complain about the lack of collision avoidance and they'd need to import tropical marine mammals protect it.

Renumber US 20 west of Yellowstone as "US 20W", and east of Yellowstone as "US 20E".   Then there would be no gap in US 20.

Start US 20 at Yellowstone's East Entrance running east to Boston, build a trans-Atlantic bridge to continental Europe, continue US 20 across Eurasia (pulling a Greenland wherever necessary to acquire the right-of-way), build a trans-Pacific bridge to Newport, Oregon, then resume US 20 to its terminus in West Yellowstone. Gap removed.

I fear to even ask the question, but is that the first time that's actually been suggested on the forum?
