Make the whole triangle I-865.  That way, it's a proper loop, notwithstanding the partial interchanges.

Then I-465 and I-65 both have gaps.  But at least I-865 isn't silly anymore.

Extend Maryland's I-270 Spur up I-270, then I-70 into Pennsylvania, Breezewood, multiplexed with the I-76/PA Turnpike, thru Washington, PA and Wheeling, WV, following I-70 through Downtown Columbus, into Indianapolis where it will finally depart I-70 to follow I-465/69 South and feature the first 4-interstate multiplex with I-69/74/465/270 Spur, then up the west side of the I-465 beltway to the interchange with I-465/865, then replace I-865 to I-65.

*Note that there are no replacements, for example I-270/I-270 Spur will be co-signed from Bethesda to Frederick. I-270 in Ohio will also remain as-is.

Truth be told, my wife and I initially decided not to try and get our kids to believe in Santa Claus, for fear that it would undermine anything we'd taught them about Göd—let alone anything else—when they eventually learned Santa isn't real.  Then we came to realize that, just like fables and fairy tales, the Santa myth reaches kids' understanding at their own level in a way that matter-of-fact rationality and logic simply don't.  (Almost like the people writing such things and the parents propagating the myth have known what they're doing or something.)  For me, this realization was influenced by JRR Tolkien's understanding of myth.  But, by that point, our eldest was too old for Santa.  So we just did it (but not super gung-ho) with the younger two.

(There should be an emoji for pipe smoking.  Seems appropriate here.)

I swear that a mistake was made when we retired the old auto trails names and started numbering highways.  The Jackson Highway used to connect Chicago and Indianapolis.  We can start resurrecting it by bringing the designation to I-865.

Making the triangle area Eagle Creek National Park would quash any complaints about the gap in I-65.

However he wants to. Everyone is supposed to know that no rules apply to cyclists and that everyone else is required to let them do whatever the fuck they want.
