DDIs should have eternal greens for left turns coming off the freeway.

North Ave & Kilpatrick Ave, Chicago, IL

Kilpatrick Ave should have an eternal green light in both directions.

I was going to take the "worst possible answer" to the extreme with a reference to Runway 4/22 at LaGuardia Airport, but that just feels too utterly inappropriate even for me.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"

It's a good thing you didn't bring it up, then.

Paralipsis dates back at least to Cicero, so I'm in good company.

Then I won't even mention the scandal of Cicero's treatment his second wife Publilia, nor will I levy any accusations about why you might consider such a petty gold-digger to be someone whose good company is worth celebrating.

All diamond interchanges on Interstate highways should have one eternal green light installed for each lane of each direction of the Interstate highway.  This will prevent traffic delays from drivers mistakenly thinking they need to stop for the crossroad.

I think I'm going to have start calling Queen Metalia and the Dark Kingdom the "Silver Y2K Bug" from now on.

I'm hoping my posts have made it clear that I have absolutely no idea what y'all have been talking about the past 2 days.
My thought process amounted to "12:30 and still no question posted, looks like I have a chance, but I have no idea what I want to do, so let's just change the Pokémon question to Sailor Moon... that should work...".

Well, Crystal Tokyo was the seat of power for the solar system (excluding Nemesis) in the 30th century under Neo Queen Serenity, so that would just be Tokyo.  The Silver Millennium was the Moon Kingdom that feel long ago, so just the moon.  I think we might have that thread in Fictional Highways.

The lizard sprockets of Sault Sainte John Madden were the key to half-hourly elevators (except for Brian) back on Gemerton's Day in the 3rd Blalak Cycle, so that would just be Lizard.  Jade Pentecost was the Onion Oblast that smell in days gone by, so just an onion.

Cool, this nonsense stuff is fun.

How would this work if all cloverleaves are already free-flowing?

All such free-flowing movements would have eternal green lights added to them.  This would improve them.

Here's one in this area:  https://maps.app.goo.gl/D5nAXXskjDbvUx8g8

Nobody has a stop sign, so all four directions could get eternal green lights.

Since the sun's visible spectrum peaks in green, technically , all intersections and interchanges have at least one eternal green light installed at them.

At least, if you consider the trillions of years it will take the sun to move through the rest of its main sequence stage, then red giant and white dwarf stages, to eventually cool down to a black dwarf to be effectively eternity.

I made a representation of what one of the boom towns might look like, when all the people move there who've just been waiting for the highways.

They will be built by the residents for the glory of Sault Saint John Madden.
