Quote from: 1 Kings 7:23And he made a molten sea, ten cubits from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, and his height was five cubits: and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.

This is the first known "crash-prone roundabout" in history, and (true story) is the place where the mule stumbled, Uzzah reached out to steady the Ark of the Covenant, and the LORD sayeth "what did I tell you about touching that" and smote him. It was more of a smite-prone roundabout.

Modern readers take this verse to mean "haha, they thought pi was 3.0 back in the day" which is not correct. Using LIDAR technology, archaeologists located this site in 2015 and it was actually a square, 7.5 cubits on a side, meaning that the actual value of pi in biblical times was 4.

Wow, that was awesome!  I like how it being "the place where the mule stumbled" is incorrect but also close enough in line with the biblical account to make me double-check myself (one was in Jerusalem and the other was on the road to Jerusalem—but probably fairly close).

Heh.  I thought of posting something like that too.  I knew there was no 6/8, and I didn't feeling like hunting for a 9/12.

That's when you try to make a "cloverleaf U-turn" at an interchange where one of the loop ramps was removed and was not replaced with a left-turn movement.

not pronouncing it "34th" like it is supposed to be...

Once it occurs it would take a miracle to overcome it...

And they build a roundabout at their intersection. The Google Lady giving directions sounds like a variation of the "Who's on first?" routine.

What does this sign mean?

It's a COVID-era parking sign, from when churches were not allowed to gather in person but worshipers could park outside the building and watch the pastor or priest on screen instead.  Baptized members were instructed to park in designated spaces equipped with Eucharist-dispensing machines.  The one-hour time limit on this example was because there was more than one church service each Sunday.

Propose a solution to the I-35/35E/35W mess in Dallas–Fort Worth and the Twin Cities.

"E" and "W" are confusing to people with no sense of direction. Instead, the routes will use the cities' first names to clarify where the roads go. Thus, I-35D and I-35F in Texas and I-35S and I-35M in Minnesota. ("S" is even more advantageous because it can refer to the individual after whom the city is named both before and after his experience on the road to Damascus.)

This system could then be expanded to beltways and other such routes. For example, instead of using I-495 and double-posting the eastern side with I-95, the Capital Beltway could be numbered I-95V and I-95M for the two states served. Or I-695 in Maryland could be I-695T (for Towson) and I-695I (for Impassable, denoting the former location of a certain bridge).
