Your truck is 13 feet tall and the bridge sign says 12 feet 11 inches. What should you do?

Get your gallon drum of WD-40 out of the vehicle's emergency kit (where you also keep air compressor, jumper cables, etc.), apply liberally to both the truck and the bridge, and slide on thru. Clean up afterward if you have the extra time, or pay it forward and leave applied for the next truck.

"Now, what if da Bearss were to enter the Indianapolis 5-hunnert?"
"How would they compete?"
"Let's say they rode together in a big buss."

"Of course!"

Which decommissioned highway should be revived?

I-895 (NY) - if I-180 (WY) gets to exist as a boulevard, why did we have to go thru the effort of redesignating I-895 to NY 895 when it was downgraded to a boulevard?

Which decommissioned highway should be revived?

The portion of US-211 from Warrenton across Northern Virginia and into Washington, DC. Those of us who grew up hearing routine references to "29/211" would find it more natural to have the traditional nomenclature restored. Plus it would be useful to have a single route number connecting that city to the east to the actual Washington that claims to have been surveyed by the future president himself in 1749.
"You know, you never have a guaranteed spot until you have a spot guaranteed."
—Olaf Kolzig, as quoted in the Washington Times on March 28, 2003,

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"
—Kolzig, to the same reporter a few seconds later.

Which decommissioned highway should be revived?

US 99W, specifically along the Harbor Drive freeway through Portland, Oregon. The freeway really added to the riverfront's charm.

Speed.

And you can take that one of two ways.  Both are correct.

Which decommissioned highway should be revived?

US-80 west of Dallas should be revived all the way to San Diego.  I think this is needed to make make US-80 a truly coat to cost highway.

I-15-BL, Holden, Utah.

Furthermore, the [NO SERVICES] sign should be removed from the exit signs, because otherwise people won't realize that there are services at Holden Cold Drinks.

US-60 and US-70 along Box Canyon Rd in Mecca CA. It's a much gentler grade than I-10, so it will be much better for the trucks.

Which decommissioned highway should be revived?

US-466 between Barstow and Kingman was obviously a vital part of the US highway system that could not hope to be replaced. It should be brought back. I think this is needed.

Which decommissioned highway should be revived?

PA 295 (now PA 297) - plenty of other states manage to have state routes & interstates with the same number, why not PA too? If it would ease PennDOT's concerns, they could post signs along I-83 similar to the MD 68/I-68 sign on I-70:

Northbound:

Southbound:
"Now, what if da Bearss were to enter the Indianapolis 5-hunnert?"
"How would they compete?"
"Let's say they rode together in a big buss."
