Carthage, Mississippi is so close but now that arrow is pointing the "wrong way"...

Franklintown, Louisiana is off by one number...make that ten a nine and I'd be okay with that blunder:

Assuming it is flat (why wouldn't it be?) then it would be large enough to fit all the diesel engined Sabbs left on the road.

A population of one person is enough, because a hypotenuse only requires two legs.

May or may not be batticorn.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

I have long wanted to see Washington Circle in Washington, DC, converted into a Swindon-style Magic Roundabout, together with spectator seating and beer sales to allow local residents to watch the carnage that would ensue.

Although as I think about it this morning, I find myself thinking that it would also be interesting to replace the very annoying Seven Corners intersection in Virginia with a simple three-lane roundabout (three lanes because Route 7 has three lanes in each direction).

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"

The intersection conversion process is not to be taken lightly; first it must denounce its ways, then accept Adobe upon conversion to PDF. After enlightenment, consideration, a willingness to yield to greater things, promises to never stop its ways, and perhaps a few drinks to simulate counterclockwise flow, the intersection can convert to a roundabout.

Continuing from the previous question, what should the control city be at Exit 278 on I-5 in Oregon in both directions?

Land area equal to that of Emmetsburg, Iowa.  So, just shy of 4 square miles.

Population equal to that of Bassett, Virginia.  So, between 1000 and 1100.

In the Des Moines area, 205th Street @ R Avenue would benefit from being converted into a grade-separated roundabout-over interchange.  It would look like this.

The intersection of my phonograph needle and Yes' Fragile album often converts into a Roundabout.

However, it may also give me a Long Distance Runaround.

The intersection of N-12 and 509th Ave in Monowi, Nebraska, would benefit from a conversion into the Putrajaya Roundabout, giving the town a much-needed beltway.
