Pick an upcoming roadmeet or city meet.  What would be a good restaurant option in that city for everyone to gather at for a meal?

It was a riot before it got deleted by the mods.  He actually proposed Wegmans near Henrietta for lunch (yep, for a meet centered on Batavia), but had not one but two snack/bathroom breaks for Arby's.  And previous proposals involving Applebee's and McDonald's.

Maybe Newark and McDonald's would have been a better answer?  I think that thread is more infamous.  Maybe even better earigated.

If |I-57/Route 66 Fan| ever gets a Chicagoland public transit meet going, then I suggest the Olive Garden on North Avenue near Kirk Road in Saint Charles.

First of all, it's Olive Garden, and everybody loves Olive Garden.  Secondly, the 4¼-mile walk from the nearest bus stop would give everyone a much-needed chance to stretch their legs.

Unfortunately I can't find any upcoming meets with a Huddle House. DFW had several that closed. Is Gun Barrel City too far?

You know what hypothetical meet would be perfect for Olive Garden?  Syracuse.

The McDonald's in Buttonwillow actually worked out for the Bakersfield Meet.  It wasn't like there was really anywhere else more convenient so close to the West Side Parkway.

I mostly put in restaurants in my meets because other people want them.  Truth be told I prefer to just meet up and get rolling.

For the bi-county, I propose a rotation between Ancho & Agave, Buco di Beppo, Gia Mia & Holy Mackerel!

Then you can rename the meet as the Bi-County Tri-State Quad-Restaurant Meet.

You're welcome.

There used to be a Subway in the subway (really a below-ground walkway) floor of Mayo Clinic.

For the Houston meet, how about the OnCue at Westheimer Road and Beltway 8? This would be ideal since we didn't get a chance to visit any OnCues at the last Oklahoma City meet.

Would you look at this menu!

Well, clearly the worst answer is any upcoming road meet and McDonald's.

Anything is a restaurant if it's got edible items (granted, you can eat the items, but your lifespan afterwards may vary).

Three.

Negative three is second closest, but it's on the other side of the world.
