Florida would win the award for most pavement damage caused by frost heaves in a single month.

Yukon would win best supporting actress, because the judges were bribed.

Michigan wasn't invited because of their behavior at the awards last year.

Most Beautiful Interstate would go to I-270 in Colorado due to its gorgeous industrial views.

That's kind of unfair.  On no other Interstate do you get as much opportunity to see and soak in the surroundings as you do on I-270 because you're averaging 0.3 mph the whole way.

FDOT earns the "Snow Plow Efficiency & Responsiveness Medallion" in reflection of their readiness and speed at removing snow from their roads with barely any plows in the fleet.

All award shows are actually road-related.  They just don't tell you the real reasons the winners are winners, because most people aren't roadgeeks and they'd find it too boring.

The joy of being on a two-lane road in heavy snow and suddenly realizing that there is an invisible white car being operated without headlights coming directly at you as the driver attempts to pass someone.

Summer heat? It's been in the 70s and 80s here, perfect weather.

I can't drive yet, but I'd say attempting to keep the car on the road when there's a layer of ice and snow on it.

Driving in shorts, flip flops, and a tank top, with the windows down and the AC on.

Speaking of which...  If I'm wearing flip-flops, then I take them off to drive.  I've always felt much more in control of the pedals barefoot than with flip-flops on.  At the height of summer heat, though, that clutch pedal can feel plenty warm to my foot, because that pedal no longer has a rubber pad on it.
