Quote from: Molandfreak on November 10, 2025, 02:45:08 PMOh wait, we're only supposed to count exits clinched on a single trip?

No.  I just meant that the exit was removed after you completed all 155.

Say, for example, I've got a run of 22 exits, then a gap of 2 exits, then another run of 6 exits.

VALID = I fill the gap, then one of those 22 exits gets removed later:  I can count the whole run, for either 29 or 30 total exits..

INVALID = One of those 22 exits gets removed, then I fill the gap later:  I can count 22 exits (pre-closure), or I can count 29 exits (existing at the time I filled in the gap), but I cannot count 30 exits.

Basically, I want to be generous with how to count these, but still no cheating.

The exit was closed and another exit with the same number opened 1/4 mile away. I have been on both exits at different times, and completed this run only this year after I picked up a few exits I was unsure about in Iowa. So I guess that means 154 exits—fair enough.

You've confused me enough that I'm letting your score stand at 155.  If it's not accurate, then you deserve the bonus anyway.

Please update my number to 44.

That's every exit on I-10 in Arizona from exit 252 to exit 382.

Exit 251 is currently closed but I've clinched every exit west of there into central Phoenix- or at least had until the Broadway Curve project.  I expect that after exit 251 reopens my number will be into at least the eighties- but it isn't there yet.
Main Line Interstates clinched:  2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, 20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 37, 39, 43, 44, 45, 55, 57, 59, 65, 68, 71, 72, 74 (IA-IL-IN-OH), 76 (CO-NE), 76 (OH-PA-NJ), 78, 80, 82, 86 (ID), 88 (IL), 94, 96

I-55

Mine is 46 on Interstate 69 stretching between Exit 163 (I-465/74 West, Peoria) and Exit 348 (US 20, Angola/LaGrange) including all exits along I-465 during that stretch.

I counted 41 interchanges along I-55, and 39 interchanges along I-80. If cloverleaf interchanges count as two exits, I might have to add some bonus points to that figure.
