I-10 Tucson, Kino-Country Club project underway

I-10 on the south side of Tucson is getting a  facelift.

 I believe the ultimate endgame is three mainline lanes on I-10, fully directional access at the Alvernon/I-10 TI , a reconfigured kino/ajo/i-10 TI, a deleted Palo verde/Irvington/I-10 TI, and a new diamond at Country Club/I-10.

Last time i drove through the area a week or two ago, the W/b entrance ramp at Alvernon was built, the westbound Irvington exit was deleted, the E-N twisty at Kino was gone, westbound Ajo entrance ramp was coned off, and the S-W ramp from kino to 10 was reconfigured to take traffic from the Ajo connector.  Mainline 10 also had jersey barriers up and shoehorned lanes for dirt work in the median.
