Apparently, "NWA" is more narrowly defined than I thought.  I've only been to Eureka Springs, and that town was definitely not Midwestern or Conservative.  I thought that counted as northwest Arkansas...

It refers to Fayetteville, Springdale, Rogers, Bentonville and the other towns in the vicinity. Eureka Springs is not part of "NWA" as it is commonly used.
