Email icon by my name

Please tell me if I'm imagining this, but is there a email icon next to the globe icon in the sidebar for me? If so, how do I turn it off? I thought it would be part of the forum profile, along with the URL for list of links, but nope. I must be blind.

I think this used to be an option you could turn on or off, but I'm guessing it was removed in one of the latest bot attacks. I don't think it's visible to anyone but yourself and possibly the mods. For what it's worth, I can't see it.

GOOD! I wasn't seeing it on anyone elses profile, and just wanted to make sure. When I hovered over it, it had a full mailto: link which makes it good food for the SPAM harvesters.

Even when it was an option, I believe the mailto: link was only available for registered users. So you wouldn't have gotten constant spam.

Me too.  Also, I used to have my direct Facebook page linked here.  I never got messages or any traffic from that either.
