Yeahhhh, I've noticed the crossover conflict so I'm moving Frederick to mid-August.

Just curious, is this still on and getting closer to narrowing down a date?  I just got asked something regarding the month of August and Hunterdon County is starting to narrow down, so just checking up on the other meet I've been keeping and eye on.

Good Question, I plan to host a 35 year high school reunion on August 22 and may have a big diecast toy show the weekend before that

The news about A-85

October?: Rivière-du-Loup? (moi, avec l'aide)

Intriguing.  I doubt I could do both this and Frederick (even if I wasn't crowding my vacation time as it is, I have a wedding to attend that month, putting a crimp in my availability), but it's definitely on my radar.  I've wanted to see A-85 for a long time now and this would be the perfect excuse (especially since, if I was interpreting said news correctly, it should be possible to fully clinch at that point, even if construction won't be 100% complete).

Don't bet the ranch on a full clinch of A-85 in October, based on what I saw on the state of construction when I drove through there last month. Richard3 (a trucker who has driven the route regularly and posted here about A-85 progress) may have some thoughts on this.

I'm reluctant to travel to Riviere-du-Loup in October. Too close to winter up there, and would require more night driving than I'm comfortable with. A previous October road trip, in Indiana, resulted in major damage to my car from a deer strike -- when is rutting season for deer, and moose, in eastern Canada?
