Hello from Southwest Virginia

Hello everyone!

Glad to be a member here!  I have an interest in transportation topics including roads, routes, signage, license plates, and related numerical patterns.  I love to road trip in North America.  I was a truck driver in the '90s, and drove city transit buses as well.  I also motorcycle long-distance and enjoy finding "superlative" locations (farthest eastern point in NA, highest point in a state, etc.). 

I was a member (mostly a lurker) in the "seroads" YahooGroup about 20 years ago.  I was always impressed with the combination of engineering knowledge and trivia I'd read there.
