Quote from: jpi on May 31, 2026, 08:07:26 AMHi everyone, as you all know I have a mini van and will be able to up to 6 people besides myself for the meet tour, this will help with car pooling.

I do the best I can to keep communication. 6 obviously makes it easier. We'll divide up cars at the exit 122 park and ride.

An interesting thing I noticed when adding aerial images for NY 17 to my Mid-Hudson History article in the wake of this meet is that exit 117 did indeed have an underpass for Tarbell Road.  I also added images for the original exits 120 and 122 (which includes a bridge replacement at exit 120, which makes me wonder if it was upgraded in 1968 rather than in the 70s as the meet directions note, as NYSDOT today likes to pair interchange reconfigurations with bridge replacements).

The only reason exit 119 isn't on that page is because I noticed that it was upgraded as part of the reconstruction project for the I-86 upgrade, so it's featured on that page instead, along with the modern configuration of exit 122 from before the current project.  Although I also found (but didn't add to the site) yet another configuration of that interchange where the WB ramps met CR 67 at the Crystal Run Crossing intersection, but before Crystal Run Crossing was built.  It seems like that interchange is always being reconfigured!

I also stumbled upon the older versions of exits 124 and 126 as part of this, so those can be found as well.

I did tell you about the 126 ramp at the meet. 124, they've wiped out most of it.

That's a large part of why I bothered to look in that area.  124 was a complete surprise, however.  Clearly poking around Historic Aerials was a good idea (even though I don't use their imagery, it is useful to target what imagery to download from USGS).  And I'm not sure what I was expecting with 126, but what I found wasn't it.  I never would have known that NY 94 isn't on its original alignment.
