Announcing the 2026 Bi-County Tri-State Road Meet.  Bi-county as in DuPage and Cook County, Illinois, and Tri-State as in Tri-State Tollway.  We will visit the large interchanges at I-355 and I-88; I-88 with I-290 and I-294; traverse the new ramps along the central Tri-State reconstruction; visit the Taj Mahal..er..ISTHA HQ; and even see some trains and stations for the railfans out there.  Vote above for your favorite dates (I left July 4 out for the obvious reasons).  We'll even have some retail mixed in as Yorktown and Oakbrook Center are nearby.

July 25 would be my best bet and here is why, Steph and I are planning to head out west again next year and we would be coming back across the I-80 corridor from Omaha and could possibly meet up on 7/25 at some point during the meet so my vote is the 25th

As I said before I doubt I can make the first half of this meet however Stephanie and I will be traveling back east on our cross country trip in July along I-80 from Lincoln NE back to central PA and we may be able to catch the last part of this meet and any post meet dinner plans that may come up, we will be heading to South Bend IN for the night on that leg of the trip.

I am likely going to be in Chicago the last weekend of June, so if I had caught that a poll was going on, I would have voted for June 27.

I see the date is set now, but if the meet needs to be moved from July 25, I'm in favor of June 27.

As long as I can get off that day I am a go.

Quick reminder that this is a month away.  I do not need any head counts for the restaurant, and if you decide that morning to join us, that's perfectly cool.

The way its looking, Steph and I may be able to catch the tail end of the meet and if there are dinner plans in the works at the end we should be able to meet up since we will becoming back east that day and staying in Elkhart, IN that night
