Back in the 1990s, a regional publisher in Appalachia used to curate, publish and distribute a 50-60 page paper pamphlet called "OFF I-68" in various rest areas, gas stations, convenience stores, local tourist-adjacent businesses, and other locations in the vicinity of Interstate 68. These pamphlets were obviously of great value in the pre-cellular/Wi-Fi/satellite Internet access era and provided insight into the various businesses that travelers along the highway could access. WVU's West Virginia and Regional History Center has a catalog entry that appears to be for this pamphlet. I have vivid memories of grabbing copies of this pamphlet and admiring the photography that the publisher included in the pamphlet; one of the pamphlets had a photo of a black bear on the cover.

Does anyone else remember this pamphlet, and does anyone know of similar types of pamphlets that were published elsewhere in the continental U.S. in the era prior to ubiquitous Internet access?
