I've just noticed that Business US 65, in Carrollton, MO, been decommissioned.

The former route followed E. Benton St. from the US 65 & 24 overpass West to Carrollton, MO's Uptown Square, S. Main St. from the Uptown Square South to MO 10 & MO 10 East to the US 65 & 24 overpass.

The E. Benton St. section is now an eastern extension of Route E, S. Main St. is just S. Main St & MO 10 is MO 10.

Google Earth streetview from August 2024 still shows signs for Business US 65 in Carrollton, MO.

Does anybody know when & why this change happened?

Will be strange to not see the Bus US 65 signage south and east of downtown any more.
