How many people have the same forum signatures for a few years? I know I try and change mine every several months.

My ancient signature and avatar might be a forum record. IIRC, no substantive change since I joined the forum in 2009.

I altered mine only slightly in 2020.  I once had a link back to my personal Facebook page for contact purposes.  However, some people went a little overboard with COVID stuff at work and I wanted an extra layer of plausible deniability here.

I've never had one, thus no changes in nearly 15 years.

I've never changed mine. Of course it's totally irrelevant. I just like the combination of the two statements.

"That sounded stupid, didn't it?"

I've left mine alone for maybe 8-10 years but have also long since turned off the option to view any of them. I like the cleaner look and don't need to see the same statement multiple times a day for months or years.

Once a year or so, I have to log in and then I get reminded that forum signatures actually exist.

I'm glad I have them displayed. Seeing NE2's signature prompted me to revise my forum profile.

Before I joined the forum, I was under the impression that it was related to the forum due to the presence of the word "clinch."

I like to use my signature as a shortcut to some of my threads and web pages that I update frequently. Mine's changed quite a bit over the years, but "Buc-ee's Fanboy" has stayed for basically the entire time.

I am honored to have one of my posts linked in your profile signature.

I didn't have one for many years.  Then I thought of a stupid quote, that no one ever said, about game shows and confusing them.  I had that one for a while and added something about Rome and roads.  I thought of it myself, but I searched for it and found that it was already out there.  Another saying is apparent: "all roads lead to roam," which is appropriate for this audience.
I'd like to buy a vowel, Alex.  What is E?

All roads lead away from Rome.

FWIW, I love it.  I told it to my family a couple of weeks ago, and they got a chuckle too.
