For those of you who watch my avatar and location, you may have noticed that for the past 10 days, I have been at South Padre Island, Texas. Here's what I was able to get clinched down there.

Traveled:
I-2, I-69E, US 77, US 83, Spur 115, Loop 499

Clinched:
Texas 100, Spur 54, and it's not on TM but I did get Park Road 100

In addition, I also traveled on almost all of the DFW Skylink (I'm missing the part around Future Terminal F), and I marked the airports we were at on the TM Flights website.

Observations:

Texas roads are alright. I see a combination of asphalt and concrete, and they are remarkably high quality—having virtually no cold or snow helps, I'm sure.

Clearview is used nearly everywhere except for shields. It's alright, but there are a few places (like exit panels) that need more space on the top and bottom.

At the intersection between two routes, I don't like that they just use a JCT banner and then a shield with the arrow pointing in both directions. West Virginia will always be superior there.

Most exit gore signs are on the right of the road instead of a point near the theoretical gore. I don't really like that, either.

I did get some photos along I-69E, I-2, and Spur 115. I'll be using them for various games and the XY challenge, so look out for them!

All in all, a good trip. I don't foresee another such trip in this decade, but that was a good amount of Texas for me!

Was I supposed to assume that your avatar matches your location?  Sorry, didn't get the memo.

It doesn't match my location exactly, but when I'm on a trip I like to change it to a local route. For example, when I was at S. Padre Island, it was a Park Road 100 shield. Park Road 100 runs through the Island. When I was at Harman for the Corridor H opening, it was a US 48 shield.

I too was unaware that avatar watching was a thing.

I noticed that he was changing his avatar, but he's been doing that ever since he joined.
