I never really noticed, but there aren't a lot of I-15 crossings in St George. Talk about dividing the neighborhood...

Pfft.  The neighborhood expanded across I-15.  St. George was a butt of jokes until its population exploded over the last couple of decades.

"They have rain in St. George!" -- Pres. Lorenzo Snow of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at least as portrayed in The Windows of Heaven, an LDS video of variable quality...

A lot of St. George east of I-15 is pretty modern.  My brother moved to one of the newer neighborhoods off of River Road (former UT 64).  The exit network off I-15 makes sense when you consider how recent the population explosion is.
