Yes, but don't get on our bad side. Need I remind everyone the Geneva Convention (the one most people know, that is) is a checklist of things Canada actually did?

Heh.  Google AI states that isn't true (:D), but Canadian war crimes are legendary..and yet missing from the otherwise excellent Canadian Museum of Human Rights in Winnipeg.

Because of my transatlantic telecommute, and my proximity to where Noah Webster did his thing, I frequently worry when working in Microsoft Office that Noah Webster's ghost is going to come haunt me as I work in Microsoft Office.

It took me years to finally train my fingers to type "modeled" instead of "modelled".   Now autocorrect is reverting that training.   At least I now have a good suspicion as to why I always wanted to have an extra "l" in that word.

(Yes, I can and do adjust the language settings in Office on my British VM to use American spellings.  But when working on shared documents....)

I remove a duplicate l wherever possible.  Although, I do stil spel it 'Illinois'...

Since English is not my native language (Spanish is, much to the dismay of MAGA) I try to adjust to context and use whatever variety is more likely to be used (thus American English here). However lately and due to political reasons I'm favouring British English. Notably I started using the word "lorry" again, as previously I feld it didn't convey the idea of a "truck".

Do you really think that anybody in the MAGA movement think that Spaniards living in Spain should speak English?  If so, then you've been misinformed.

Now you should throw everyone off by calling pickup trucks trocas in Spanish.

Even Harbor is spelled H-A-R-B-O-U-R.

Why is spelling so different for the same language?
Borrowed from other languages could be the one here.

I would think the MAGA bros are more in favor of everyone speaking "American."

Why would MAGA care about what people do on the other side of the world?  Isn't that the first 'A'?

I don't even know if there is someone in my circle of family or friends who is actual "MAGA member."  I feel as though if there was someone around me that was a member that I would know somehow.  I get the gist that they would stand out very overtly.

I think there's a young guy at church who I've seen wear a MAGA hat.  Other than that, how exactly is one supposed to recognize them?

Loud and boisterous behavior?  That's what I've been lead to believe anyways.

Wearing a hat in church fits the stereotype.
