I love the Red Green Show.  I remember it from before its facelift (or whatever you want to call it) in 1997, too.  Every so often, I like to find an episode to play on YouTube, and my younger two sons love watching it with me.

It's amazing. Easily a great program. Red's books are also pretty good if you're a reader.

Still looking for the episode where Red Green is fascinated with the old VW rear-engine concept and converts a front-engine car to function like a rear-engine car.  IIRC, he gets tangled up in the steering linkage that runs above the seats.

Did find one where he converts an old 1970s Mercury Monarch into a mid-engine vehicle.  Not quite a funny, but still a blast.
