I saw on Instagram that Metro Center Mall in Phoenix is really dead as bulldozers leveled it completely.

I don't think it's been mentioned in this thread, but the Enfield Square Mall, in Enfield, CT is in its last days, with the state having just approved $10m for the site's redevelopment and permits to begin demolition in July being lined up.

I believe this will take the Hartford metro down to two malls...although one of them, Buckland Hills, isn't healthy.

As someone who goes into Buckland Hills every 1-2 years, it's staggering how much worse it is with every trip.

One Cherry Hill Office Tower at Cherry Hill Mall in Cherry Hill, NJ is coming down for a ball field.

Mall still open, but building is dead.

To me, a Burlington Coat Factory as an anchor is tantamount to a load of bracket fungus on a trunk.

Oddly enough the corpse of the Billerica Mall near me just had it's Burlington Coat Factory leave for a different location within the same town. This place has lost a Kmart, Market Basket (to new apartments), and has the vaporware of an Amazon Fresh where the Kmart once was.

Another sign of death is nothing but GNC and Bath & Body Works inside the mall for a national chain.

Spencer's stores have commonly been associated with indoor shopping malls. Now the chain is about to open its first standalone store not inside a mall. Of all the places they could choose where to build it, they're opening the new store here in Lawton.
