Cleveland is not on my bucket list that is for sure. I feel safer in Flint, Detroit, Pontiac, Lansing, Saginaw and Kalamazoo than I do Cleveland. With all that said I'm happy the Guardians lost.

Huh, Detroit's crime rate is less than half of Cleveland's. Good job Detroit.

Cleveland is also half the city Detroit is. Detroit isn't as bad as people think it is.

The Brewers, Blue Jays, Dodgers, and Tigers each win game 1 of their DS series.

I just want the Yankees (and the Dodgers but not as much) to lose and I'll be happy.

Detroit can be a wilderness if you know where to look.  The neighborhood of Delray resembles some mining ghost towns form out west.

It depends. If you aren't looking for trouble usually you aren't going to find it. The ultimate worst part of Detroit to me is the 48205 zip code which of course is on the NE side of the city and some areas here and there. SW Detroit is actually my favorite part of the city outside of downtown like around Vernor and Springwells and there's a Mexican restaurant I like on Dix just east of Central but Delray is mostly a ghost town. Still though I think Cleveland is a creepy city.

I've never been to either to I can't talk, but it seems like Cleveland's transit system is better than Detroit's. Detroit has a people mover and a new street car line, but Cleveland has 2 light rail and 1 heavy rail lines. Although Detroit overall has the superior sports teams.

I've been to both several times. Cleveland has a subway, Detroit's bus system is better than it used to be though. The people mover is a 3 mile circle around downtown it really doesn't take you anywhere and the QLine is only 3 miles up to Grand Blvd. in the New Center Area. But yeah Detroit has better sports teams than Cleveland does. As far as the cities though Detroit is twice the size of Cleveland and has a much better downtown. I've been to Boston before and I liked that city.

Weighing in on this Cleveland vs. Detroit thing: It seems that the Motor City is better overall in terms of sports (4 World Series championships for the Tigers, 2 for the Indians; 3 NBA championships for the Pistons, 1 for the Cavaliers; OTOH, neither the Browns nor Lions have ever been to a Super Bowl, and both have had to endure 0-16 seasons, plus Cleveland failed miserably in the NHL, while Columbus and Detroit have thrived), and has a far more superior music history too, with Motown, rock, and Eminem. Plus it's come a long way since the very worst years in the 80s and 90s, when violent crime, urban decay and a steep population drop-off ran rampant. And FWIW, I like Cincinnati better than Cleveland, because it has a superior road network and sports teams too. No freeway Dead Man's Curve to encounter (although the big curve at the Lytle Tunnel comes pretty darn close; however, they do exist on a couple of arterials), and the bridges in Cincy are spectacular as well.

The Dodgers purchased superteam (MLBPA with their allergy to the salary cap sends their regards) have gone up 2-0 vs the Phillies.

I'm thinking that a LOT of Cleveland area locals are still very upset at the team's ownership for their woke name change.  It's not catching on.

Could have gone with "Spiders" but they went the more vanilla renaming to "Guardians."
