NYC-related Request

I recently received an e-mail request from our friends at TomTom (the ones who attended Adam Moss' meet in North Jersey last year as well as my meet in Bennington).  Anyways, they are working on an New York City mapping project for TomTom regarding HOV lanes.

They are presently working on a project to improve their modeling of zipper HOVs, as well as improving HOV attribution in their data.  In New York, the focus is on the Gowanus Expressway, the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel and the Queens Midtown Tunnel.  While there is some information on-line, it is geared to the Manhattan-bound driver (as expected) and their specifications require more details to fully and accurately map and attribute the roadways.

Since I live in Upstate New York and my own occasional travels around New York City (roughly a half dozen times annually) tend not to be on the roadways in question, I think someone with a more regular working knowledge may be of greater assistance than myself.

If you are interested, and are realistically able to help, let me know through e-mail or personal message, and I can pass contact information around between you and TomTom.  Thanks!
