Exit 7B on NJ 42 is the newly opened interchange for Camden County College, featuring 4 roundabouts, not the traditional NJ circles. However, there's no Exit 7A on 42... bravo NJDOT. ;)

Elsewhere in the states, on mileage-based exit numbering, you would normally have 7A and 7B rather than 7 and 7A. Seems like they went with that approach, only not renumbering exit 7.

I imagine Exit 7 will eventually be renumbered when they replace signage.

no
why
Because the NJ Turnpike crosses underneaith Rt. 42 between Exits 14 and 13, which is 6 miles away from where the Interchange 7's are located.
