US 12 fan

If they decide to change that route and decide not to have a state or county highway there, it would be interesting to see what they do with Highway 113 and Highway 30 since they both end at Highway 151.

If it was made an unsigned state highway, it really wouldn't matter. Otherwise you could just run WI-30 down East Washington Avenue to end at First Street and the end of WI-113.

They should just re-route 113 down Aberg, and re-number 30 to 113, and end it at 39/90/94.

That'll work too.

Would take care of the "sacrifice one number for another" rule.  but then 113 exits off itself.

If US 151 is rerouted, but STH 113 still ends at the E. Washington Ave./First St. intersection, it would join state highways STHs 24/42/107/134/136/152, which all have one terminus that is not at a state highway, US Highway or Interstate Highway.

WI 155 & 794 enter the chat.

And WIS 122 (which ends at a state line but is not a Michigan highway on the other side)

It's amusing how much on both sides that state routes crossing the WI/MI line are only state highways on one side of the border.

That's even supposed to be a Lake Superior Circle Tour loop, but it's only signed in Wisconsin, effectively making it a spur. It isn't difficult to get back to US 2 on the Michigan side, though.

I was excluding highways that went to the state lines. I did forget 155 and 794.

Wis 30 isn't going anywhere. I doubt anything changes with Wis 113 in Madison.

It's just a wait and see game at this point with US 151. I'm sure the state wants E Washington Ave to stay a state highway to continue and collect connecting highway aid from the state.

I would hope that if S Park St becomes a city street part of the deal would be to reconstruct it. The stretch from Olin Ave to Wingra Dr is in awful shape and needs to be resurfaced.
