Poor Sign Placement

That sign is there in the 2007 imagery. I can make out a vague dirt road, but it still doesn't deserve anything more than a Home Depot "No Trespassing" sign.

But what road is closed is the question?????

The technical answer: The shields. The stop sign with a beacon was next to the signage; it was moved back a few feet and now blocks the signage.

On the way home from work, I saw one of those soft temporary work zone signs.  What are they made of, mesh or something?  Anyway, it was a <MEN WORKING> sign.  Except that they had attached it to its stand upside-down.  And, I guess, just called it good?
