Honda Civic "Musical Road"
« on: April 09, 2009, 04:09:49 PM »

I was just wondering if anybody has seen the musical road commercial for the Honda Civic?  Does anybody know where they did that?  I think it looks like somewhere in southern Cal, and it'd be cool to drive next time I'm down there.

I heard on Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me (NPR) that this is in Lancaster in LA county.  Apparently, it is quite loud, and is aggravating neighbors.  They described the sound a non-Honda Civic makes as a "middle school rehearsal version" of William Tell.

Not to mention the Civic doesn't do the right tune at all.  Play it next to the actual tune and you'll see.
