Cutout US Shields in Nevada?

This looks fairly new.  California-style too. 

Is it just an old one that is in good condition?  Or is Nevada starting to use cutout US shields?

that's the only one.  installed around 2003.  IIRC, there were also 6 and 50 cutouts there in 2005, but they got taken down.

these unusual guide signs also were around as part of the same installation - they lasted until 2007.
