Erroneous road signs

In the other direction at this same interchange, there is a W4-3 Added Lane sign before the two lane onramp meets the mainline. What actually happens is the inner lanes merge immediately and the second lane also merges 500 feet after that. Street View shows that it's been this way since at least 2008.

Inner or center merges (whatever you want to call them) like this really shouldn't be a thing. If they are going to exist, there ought to be a standard sign that depicts them accurately. The added lane sign is misleading in this situation.

Yes, but going straight takes you to I-40, which is where I-57 ends. Looks okay to me.

Yeah, there are exits between the sign and the interchange with I-40.  Not good.

See photos in the tweet I sent to VDOT. Very bizarre, and erroneous, use of yield signs at an intersection where the other street has stop signs. Notice there is another yield across the intersection. A little ways further down the road, there is a raised crosswalk that also has plain yield signs. It's apparent that somebody—and I don't know whether it's VDOT or the Fairfax County DOT on that street—meant to post "Stop for Pedestrians in Crosswalk" signs. These are all very new signs because a new Lee District government center, police station, and public library opened last week across the way to the right from where I took these pictures.

For the sake of clarity, it's actually the [BIKE LANE] sign that's an error.  It was supposed to be a [DO NOT ENTER] sign, like here.

Or, technically, I suppose, the [EXCEPT BICYCLES] sign should be rotated 90° to align with the [ONE WAY] sign coming off the alley, like here.
