Interstate 55 north
A full-cloverleaf interchange joins Interstates 55 and 12 on the southwest side of Hammond. Interstate 12 comprises an 85-mile route linking Interstate 10 at Baton Rouge with Interstates 10 and 59 at Slidell. The freeway represents the east-west through route in Southeastern Louisiana as I-10 loops southward into Greater New Orleans. Photo taken 11/20/08.
