Exit 317 for Union Chapel Road is the 9th Fort Wayne area interchange along Interstate 69 south. Union Chapel Road connects Royville and Coldwater Road (former SR 327) to the west with Tonkel Road (old SR 427) to the east. 11/06/11
Dupont Road carries SR 1 east from a diamond interchange (Exit 316) with I-69 to Leo Road on a 5.6 mile course to Leo-Cedarville. 11/06/11
Interstate 69 expands to six overall lanes with a barrier median ahead of Exit 316. A two segment route, SR 1 begins at Exit 316 and ventures northward 40.7 miles to Saint Joe, Butler, Hamilton and U.S. 20 at Ellis. 11/06/11

Coldwater Road meets Interstate 69 south at a busy directional cloverleaf interchange (Exit 312) in one mile. 11/06/11
U.S. 30 joins I-69 south from I-469 to connect with its expressway leading west from Fort Wayne. U.S. 24 overlaps with the freeway 13 miles south to Ellisville. 11/06/11
Coldwater Road, the original alignment of U.S. 27 and later route of SR 327, provides a direct route to Downtown Fort Wayne via Clinton Street and U.S. 27. Fort Wayne International Airport lies on the south side of the city along Airport Expressway east from Exit 299. 11/06/11
Coldwater Road (Exit 312) meets I-69/U.S. 24-30 a half mile south of Auburn Road. Coldwater Road south to SR 930 (Coliseum Boulevard) connects I-69 with Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) and Ivy Tech Community College. 11/06/11
Interstate 69 south / U.S. 24-30 west briefly expand to four lanes ahead of the Exit 312 to Coldwater Road. 11/06/11
Coldwater Road travels south from CR 327 in DeKalb County through Royville and suburban north Fort Wayne to Northcrest and Glenbrook Square Mall. Coldwater Road carried U.S. 27 northward until the completion of I-69, when it shifted onto the freeway to Lansing, Michigan. SR 327 was signed in its place until it was truncated northward to Butler Center. 11/06/11

A two-part route, SR 3 follows Lima Road north from Exit 311B as a six lane expressway to Dupont Road and four lane highway to Kendallville. SR 3t tavels 44.8 miles from Fort Wayne to Brighton. Lima Road south was formerly a part of SR 3 to Clinton Street and U.S. 27 through Downtown. SR 3 was removed from the state system between Exit 311 and Markle by 1972 when I-69 was completed. 11/06/11
U.S. 27 commences a 1,364 mile route to Miami, Florida from Exit 311A. Using a combination of Clinton Street and Lafayette Street/Spy Run Avenue through the central business district, U.S. 27 is the lone US highway posted within the I-69/469 loop. South from Fort Wayne, U.S. 27 combines with U.S. 33 to Decatur before parting ways to Portland, Winchester and Richmond. 11/06/11

U.S. 30 west joins U.S. 33 north along Goshen Road from Exit 309B to an adjacent trumpet interchange. U.S. 33 remains along Goshen Road northwest toward Churubusco while U.S. 30 follows an expressway west to Columbia City. 11/06/11
U.S. 33 joins the Fort Wayne area with Goshen and Elkhart, the route's northern terminus. U.S. 30 travels west as a four lane highway throughout Indiana, serving cities such as Warsaw, Plymouth, Valparaiso, Hobart and Merrillville. 11/06/11
Interstate 69 U.S. 33 South U.S. 24 West
SR 930 extends Goshen Road southeast to Coliseum Boulevard as the former in-city route of U.S. 30. Coliseum Boulevard encircles central Fort Wayne to Washington Boulevard (former U.S. 24/SR 14) east of Downtown. The 13 mile long state road concludes at I-469 and New Haven. 11/06/11
Traveling southwesterly, I-69/U.S. 24-33 next meet the eastern end of SR 14 (Illinois Road) at a cloverleaf interchange (Exit 305). 11/06/11
I-69/U.S. 24-33 passes by an industrial park and over two Norfolk Southern Railroad lines ahead of Exit 350 for Illinois Road. Illinois Road east of the freeway originally carried SR 14 to Jefferson Boulevard and an overlap with then-U.S. 24 into Downtown. 11/06/11
Exit 305B parts ways with I-69/U.S. 24-33 south for SR 14 (Illinois Road) west to South Whitley. The state road travels 123 miles overall between Fort Wayne and U.S. 41 at Enos. 11/06/11
Illinois Road heads east from Exit 305A to Jefferson Pointe shopping center, where the road merges with Jefferson Boulevard (old U.S. 24). SR 14 followed U.S. 24 east to New Haven, and Dawkins Road from there to Edgerton and Ohio until 1995, when I-469 was completed. 11/06/11

Jefferson Boulevard was the route of U.S. 24 through Fort Wayne until it shifted onto I-69 and I-469 to bypass the city. Also old SR 37, Jefferson Boulevard remains a busy commuter route leading northeast to various retail areas and the central business district. 11/06/11

I-69/U.S. 33 continue with six overall lanes one mile south from Jefferson Boulevard. Beyond Fox Islands Park, Interstate 69 becomes a rural four lane freeway. 11/06/11

Airport Expressway stems east from Lower Huntington Road nearby to Fort Wayne International Airport (FWA) and southern reaches of Fort Wayne. 11/06/11
Lower Huntington Road meanders northeast from Airport Expressway to several quarries and the Waynedale community in Fort Wayne. Westward the road continues to Winters Road near the GM Truck and Bus assembly plant. 11/06/11

A directional cloverleaf interchange joins I-69 with Interstate 469 east to New Haven and Lafayette Center Road west to Roanoke at Exit 296. 11/06/11
Lafayette Center Road was built over directly by I-469 between I-69 and Indianapolis Road (former SR 3) to the east. The road west serves the GM Fort Wayne Assembly plant en route to County Road 900 N in Huntington County. U.S. 33 south joins Interstate 469 to Exit 11. 11/06/11
Accommodating traffic to the adjacent GM plant, a two lane ramp departs I-69 south for west Lafayette Center Road. Exit 296A follows for I-469 east and U.S. 33 south. 11/06/11
U.S. 24 circumvents Fort Wayne east to New Haven, where it shifts onto an expressway to Woodburn. Completion of the Fort to Port Corridor in 2012 linking Fort Wayne with Toledo, Ohio resulted in the realignment of U.S. 24 to the northern half of the I-69/469 loop. 11/06/11
Lafayette Center Road east transitions directly onto I-469 at Exit 296A. U.S. 33 uses I-469 to link with U.S. 27 south to Decatur. U.S. 33 continues from Indiana to Columbus, Ohio and ultimately Richmond, Virginia. 11/06/11
Interstate 69 South
Interstate 69 continues 107 miles to Indianapolis. The adjacent cities of Huntington via U.S. 224 west and Marion via SR 18 west are next. 11/06/11
