One mile south of the volleyball interchange between U.S. 250 & West Virginia 2, Interstate 470, and 26th Street. A volleyball interchange features diamond interchanges from two freeways that intersect one another independent of the freeway mainline. The interchange design accommodates intersecting roadways limited in space due to the area terrain. U.S. 250 southbound enters the state of Ohio with U.S. 40 eastbound from Bridgeport, Ohio to Interstate 70 Exit 0 in Wheeling. The federal highway leaves Interstate 70 for a freeway of its own east of downtown Wheeling at Exit 1B. West Virginia 2 merges onto Interstate 70 & U.S. 250 from Main Street at Exit 1A.
