There are two segments of Florida State Road 189: the northern section travels from Baker (SR 4) to the Alabama state line (SR 137). The southern section travels between the Air Armament Center of Eglin A.F.B. and U.S. 98 (Miracle Strip Parkway) in Ft. Walton Beach. Additionally there are two Okaloosa County Road 189 segments. One leads from an area south of Interstate 10 to U.S. 90 at Holt, and another from U.S. 90 at Galliver to SR 4 south of Baker.
