Comparable to MD 222 along the Susquehanna River or MD 272 to Elk Neck State Park, MD 273 through Fair Hill National Resources Area is arguably one of the most scenic drives in Cecil County. 06/20/12

MDd 273 straddles northern reaches of Cecil County along a 16.74 mile course between U.S. 1 (Conowingo Road) and Delaware Route 273 at Newark. Part of the Mason and Dixon Scenic Byway, the highway travels across bucolic hills east from the town of Rising Sun to Fair Hill Natural Resources Management Area and the Delaware line at Newark.
