There are two branches of County Route 23 along Padgett Switch Road. The southern leg extends 5.9 miles south from CR 39 and Half Mile Road near Irvington to SR 188 at Bayou La Batre. The northern section runs 2.2 miles between Half Mile Road and U.S. 90.
