County Road 232 travels across Gilchrist County from U.S. 129 east into Alachua County. The rural highway ties into CR 241, 19.94 miles east of U.S. 129. An implied overlap with CR 241 southward for 0.71 miles connects the western leg with the 6.72 mile long eastern section of CR 241 along Millhopper Road. NW 43rd Street turns CR 232 south 0.99 miles from Millhopper Road to SR 222 (NW 39th Avenue) in Gainesville.
The 9.79 mile long southern branch of Gilchrist County Road 232 forms an L-shaped route north from SR 26 at Wilcox along SW 70th Avenue, and east along SW 30th Place to U.S. 129.
