County Road 386A is an unsigned route providing a cut off between U.S. 98 and County Road 386 in Mexico Beach. The 1.210-mile link follows 15th Street through the residential street grid of the coastal city.

County Road 386A West
15th Street (CR 386A) curves southwest from the Ocean Plantation subdivision to connect with U.S. 98 along the Gulf of Mexico beachfront in Mexico Beach. This area was damaged catastrophically from the landfall of Hurricane Michael on October 10, 2018. Photo taken 06/27/09.
Dating from February 22, 1972, this vintage shield assembly for U.S. 98 stood at the west end of CR 386A in Mexico Beach. This sign was eliminated with extension of the sidewalk along 15th Street east by 2015. U.S. 98 straddles the beachfront northwest toward Tyndall Air Force Base and south to Saint Joe Beach.
