Talladega County 399 - Speedway Boulevard

Home » Guides » Alabama » Talladega County 399 - Speedway Boulevard

Two portions of Talladega County 399 exist. A 5.8-mile stretch follows Speedway Boulevard between Alabama 77 and County Road 5 (Eastaboga Road) along the north side of Talladega Superspeedway. This stretch of roadway carries four overall lanes with full shoulders as it represents the main access point to the speedway.

A north-south component of County Road 399 travels 7.5 miles south from County Road 5 near Eastaboga to Alabama 21 at Curry.

During a major race event at Talladega Superspeedway, traffic along Speedway Boulevard is managed so that motorists travel inbound only to the track ahead of the race and outbound only after the race. This functions well as the track lies approximately midway between the CR 399 intersections with Alabama 77 and Eastaboga Road.
