Sunset Point Road between U.S. 19 ALT and CR 611 (McMullen Booth Road) across northern Clearwater is County Road 576. CR 576 also extends east into the city of Safety Harbor along Main Street to 10th Avenue S (old SR 590). Sunset Point Road is a four lane boulevard between CR 1 (Keene Road) and McMullen Booth Road.

Historically, Main Street and Sunset Point Road west to Clearwater was designated as Florida State Road 588.
