Pottawattamie County Route G37 extends 2.28 miles east from the cloverleaf interchange joining the north end of I-680 with I-29. Following Old Mormon Bridge Road, the rural highway crosses a CN Railroad line, Union Pacific Railroad line and Pigeon Creek east to the city of Crescent. CR G37 concludes at CR L20 (Old Lincoln Highway), the historic alignment of U.S. 75.

CR G37 replaced what was Iowa 988 between I-29/680 and then-Iowa 183 (Old Lincoln Highway) in Crescent. The state route was decommissioned on July 1, 2003.1
