State Road 574 runs 23.04 miles from U.S. 92 (Dale Mabry Highway) in Tampa east to U.S. 92 again in Plant City. The state road is named Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard throughout its course from Drew Park in Tampa east to Orient Park, Mango, Seffner, Dover and the Plant City line. Within Tampa, the mostly four-lane boulevard provides a through route between Raymond James Stadium, West Tampa, College Hill and Grant Park. East of the city, the route serves commuting interests to the south of Interstate 4 and U.S. 92 to Dover. During the annual Strawberry Festival in Plant City, SR 574 becomes a congested route east from Interstate 75, with the festival grounds lining the north side of West Reynolds Street at Woodrow Wilson Boulevard.
