A 7.83-mile route across north Tampa and the city of Temple Terrace, Florida 582 (Fowler Avenue) joins the University of South Florida (USF) with Interstate 275 and U.S. 41 to the west and Interstate 75 and U.S. 301 to the east. The busy route consists of a four to eight lane arterial for its entirety.
