SR 14CO overlays the limited access portion of South Fulton Parkway east from the end of U.S. 29 ALT/SR 14 ALT at the exchange with U.S. 29/SR 14 (Roosevelt Highway) for 2.01 miles to the systems interchange linking I-85/285 at College Park. South Fulton Parkway runs 13.72 miles west as U.S. 29 ALT/SR 14 ALT through northern reaches of Union City to SR 70/154 in the city of South Fulton.

Previously the easternmost 2.8 miles of South Fulton Parkway was designated as SR 14 Spur, with the jurisdictional change advocated by the South Fulton Parkway Alliance as the best solution for future development and maintenance. The state route suffix changed from Spur to Connector in 2007.
