State Route 183 is a 10.31 mile long highway in Dawson County in north Georgia. Traversing hilly timberland and agricultural areas, SR 183 runs north from SR 53, west of Dawsonville, to Juno, Emma and SR 52 south of Amicalola. SR 136 overlaps with SR 183 for 1.68 miles south of Lake Laurel and Grogan Mountain.

The south end of SR 183 at SR 53 was converted to a roundabout, which was completed on July 1, 2019.1 Work replacing the three wye intersection at the north end of SR 183 into a roundabout commenced with a contract award in November 2017. Scheduled completion was May 31, 2020.2
