Exit 64 was reconfigured as part of the overall Interstate 29 expansion project between 2004 and 2007. A two-lane off-ramp departs not only for 13th Avenue South, but also for 38th Street SW at West Acres. 38th Street SW acts as a southbound frontage road to 17th Avenue South and a cluster of apartment complexes. Exit 65 departs Interstate 29 & U.S. 81 north for Business Loop I-94 & U.S. 10 (Main Street). U.S. 10 follows Main Avenue west four miles to end at I-94. U.S. 10 used to continue all the way to Seattle, but was replaced in stages between 1969 and 1986 with Interstates 94 and 90. Photo taken 06/17/15.

Another six-ramp parclo interchange joins Interstate 29 & U.S. 81 with 12th Avenue North to the west of North Dakota State University. The campus lies south of the Fargodome and Newman Outdoor Field (home of the Northern League's Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks and NDSU baseball team) at the junction of U.S. 81 Business (University Drive) south and 12th Avenue North. U.S. 81 Business returns to Interstate 29 & U.S. 81 by way of 19th Avenue North and Hector International Airport (FAR). A parclo interchange joins the two highways amid open fields west of the airport, which includes the Fargo Air Museum. Photo taken 04/22/07.

Exit 67 departs Interstate 29 & U.S. 81 north for U.S. 81 Business (19th Avenue North) south (east) to Hector International Airport (FAR). One could argue that U.S. 81 Business should be signed as Interstate 29 Business. Nonetheless, the business loop ventures east to the Fargodome and south through Downtown and Frontier. 19th Avenue west continues to the North Dakota Horse Park and rural areas outside of the city.
