Business Loop I-40 through the Yavapai County community of Ash Fork constitutes a 1.60 mile long route following Historic U.S. 66. Beginning at Exit 144, the business route arcs northeast along Lewis Avenue past Pine Avenue, the original alignment of U.S. 66 to 8th Street. Lewis Avenue forms a couplet with Park Avenue eastbound through the Ash Fork business district. The two streets converge over Ash Fork Draw, where a two-wye intersection historically joined U.S. 66 and U.S. 89 from the south. Business Loop I-40 turns southward to rejoin I-40 at the diamond interchange (Exit 146) with SR 89.
