Interstate 64 east & 77 south
Interstates 64 east & 77 south leave the Mabscott areas on the approach to their split at a directional interchange (Exit 40) south of Beckley. Interstate 77 remains on the West Virginia Turnpike southward from Exits 40 to 9 at Princeton; Interstate 64 departs on a freeway leading east to Lewisburg and Lexington, Virginia. Exit 40 departs the West Virginia Turnpike southbound at the Norfolk Southern Railroad and Pine Creek under crossing, 1.25 miles from the Interstate 64 freeway beginning. Interstate 64 follows a beautiful route east to Green Sulphur Springs, Lewisburg, and White Sulphur Springs on the 63-mile drive to Virginia.
